The advertisement for the 1668 open positions with the New Islamabad Police has finally been
published in Pakistani newspapers.
1668 new positions have been made available for male and female applicants in the Islamabad Capital
Territory Police Jobs 2022 Advertisement. Details are posted on the Islamabad Police website, which is
located at www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk.
The Islamabad Police/ICT Police, popularly known as the Islamabad Police, was established on January
1st, 1981. The ICT Police's mission is to fulfil the demand for a separate police force in Islamabad, the
nation's capital, in order to uphold the rule of law, safeguard people's lives and property, and quell unrest.
By upholding municipal, state, and federal laws and by offering aid and assistance in times of disaster
or crisis, the ICT Police organisation aims to maintain public safety and tranquilly.
To maintain transparency and merit, the Islamabad Capital Territory Police is accepting online
applications from Pakistanis around the country in accordance with the provincial/regional quotas
established by the Federal Government.
Candidates from the following regions and provinces are eligible: Islamabad Capital Territory, Punjab,
Sindh Rural, Sindh Urban, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Balochistan, FATA, Gilgit Baltistan, and AJK.
As implied by the title, the Islamabad Police has posted new positions for Constables (Male/Female)
(BPS-07). This appointment will only be chosen for based solely on merit.
Participants in this recruitment for a position as a Police Constable in the Islamabad Capital Territory
Police/ICT Police should adhere to the eligibility requirements.

Applications delivered by hand or via mail services will never be accepted by the ICT Police. Candidates are asked to fill out the online form completely and accurately. Candidates who provide false information shall be penalised in accordance with sections 420/468/471.
According to the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act of 2018's requirements and the gender listed on their CNIC, a transgender person may apply based on how they feel their gender identity.
At the time of the interview, children of active or retired police officers who are claiming on a family claim basis must present all necessary documentation, such as a pension book or retirement order.
